What is the difference between a piano accordion and a button accordion?

There are really two types of accordions diatonic acordion always has buttons; Chromatic can have buttons or keys.

Differences:

Diatonic Accordions are always button accordions. They can have more then one row of buttons-one,two,three.They have limited notes availible in the left hand and they are smaller,less expensive and not so heavy because they have less parts.

Chromatic Accordions they play all notes and can have a larger range of notes.Those accordions have full range of notes in the left hand which is good for accompaniment.They can produse more variety of sound.
