Is accordion a musical instrument of the past or it is gaining its popularity.

Typical modern band use guitar,bass guitar, drums and a keyboards and of course there is no such musical instrument as an accordion. It seems that accordion an old fashion squeeze box which is not popular anymore. But if you like an accordion music there are some bands who still use acordion .
